I like to write about what's new here at the lake, and some news about my business, too.  If you want to know what I'm writing about today, check out Lake Anna News from Nancy.

If you'd like a little background about me, please read on...

I'm a full time resident of Lake Anna, and my husband and I live in a waterfront home on the private side of Lake Anna with our two German Shorthaired Pointers, Baron and Annie.  I've been one of the top producing agents at Dockside Realty for more than ten years and have sold tens of millions of dollars of Lake Anna real estate.  More importantly, I've strived hard to serve the needs of my many clients, who are now my friends and neighbors at Lake Anna.

In 1994, I purchased a small two bedroom townhouse at Tara Shores, on the public side of the lake.  We had a great time there and enjoyed our lake home nearly every weekend all year round.

Four years later, we purchased a waterfront lot and built our own home.  I found myself dreading Sunday evenings when we had to leave to return to Northern Virginia. Because we loved the lake, we decided to move to Lake Anna permanently!  It was then that I became a licensed Realtor® with Dockside Realty.  We subsequently sold our first house and built another one just a few lots away.   (See photo below).

Living full time on Lake Anna and meeting so many wonderful folks, helping them find their dream homes, and being a part of Team Dockside has proved to be one of the most rewarding things I've ever done!  I feel like each of my clients is a future neighbor and friend, and I'm thrilled when they wave to us from their boat or stop by our dock for a visit and a cold drink!

On a more personal level, I am proud of my three grown sons, my two wonderful daughters-in-law, and my two beautiful granddaughters.  Having been widowed in 2003, I met and married a wonderful man in 2005 and now have added four more sons and three more grandchildren to our family.  We are thrilled to welcome all 20 of our children, grandchildren, their wives, and significant others to our home as often as they can make it here from Reston, Va., Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and California.  Maybe I need to find another, bigger home here at the lake!

When I'm not with clients or answering emails, we House.jpgenjoy visiting historical sites, travelling, gardening, cooking Italian food, and being out on Lake Anna in our pontoon boat or jet ski.  Even sunny winter days will find us on our boat, beached at our favorite island, with a thermos of hot soup and our favorite magazine or newspaper, enjoying the fresh air and the blue sky reflected in the lake.

I love finding my future neighbors just the perfect spot at Lake Anna.  Why not let me introduce you to life at our beautiful lake?

See you on the lake!
